A

Action Economy: A system of managing and utilizing limited actions and/or resources that players have during their turns to make strategic decisions.

Blind Bidding: A format designed to prevent bias and maintain privacy where bid amounts are hidden during the active bidding phase.

Boss Battler: A type of game where players work together to defeat a powerful enemy or monster, often referred to as the “boss.” These games typically involve strategic planning, character abilities, and cooperative gameplay to overcome challenging encounters.

Campaign Game: A series of connected game sessions where players progress through a storyline, making decisions that affect the outcome of the game.

Glass Cannon: A character or object that is extremely powerful offensively yet is also extremely weak defensively.

Miniature (Mini): A small figure designed to represent characters, units, or elements within the game.

Standee: A self-standing display, often made of cardboard, used to represent characters or elements in tabletop games.

T

Tank: A tank is a character designed to absorb damage and protect other players by drawing enemy attacks away from them. Tanks typically have high health and defensive capabilities, allowing them to endure hits while supporting their team.
